Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Busser to join our fine dining restaurant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests by maintaining cleanliness and assisting the front-of-house staff.
Responsibilities:
- Clear tables efficiently and reset them promptly, ensuring a clean and organized dining area for incoming guests.
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Refill water glasses and attend to guests' needs promptly, providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room, including floors, surfaces, and restrooms, in adherence to health and safety standards.
- Assist with polishing silverware, glassware, and other dining utensils to ensure presentation standards are met.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Support other staff members as needed to ensure a positive guest experience.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Busser or in a similar support role in a restaurant environment is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move items as needed.
