This position is also responsible for the production and consolidation of segments of the division’s periodic financial reports, budgets and related analysis.

Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee day to day accounting and finance functions and lead accounting staff
- Production of segments of monthly and annual financial books, including complete & accurate reporting, related analysis and reconciliations.
- Manage and increase efficiencies around accounting procedures, systems, and workflow
- Manage and coordinate month end close through collaboration with multiple locations
- Review and approve monthly journal entries
- Review and approve account reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statement reporting, including variance analysis
- Analyze and communicate results to management
- Maintain compliance with GAAP accounting standards, policies, internal controls and cash management initiatives
- Perform accounting research and analyses to identify inconsistencies or trends and provide insights to Controller
- Lead preparation of assigned portions of the annual budget and monthly forecast by collaborating with key corporate stakeholders
- Lead preparation and review of quarter-end and year-end close schedules and other deliverables to key stakeholders across the organization
- Support internal and external audit procedures
- Be a champion of innovation and change within the local team and larger finance organization
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Qualification requirements:
- Proven Leader with 8 years of accounting/finance experience
- CPA required
- Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized, strong ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to act and operate independently, with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish directives
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, lookup functions)
- Experience with sophisticated accounting software applications, Oracle Finance a plus
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting required
