The First Databank (FDB) is currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Specailist. The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist researches source pharmaceutical information, makes detailed observations, analyzes data and interprets results for possible inclusion within knowledge base content. Directs and performs data entry tasks and verifies data entry performed by team members. Able to independently plan and prioritize order of completion for work assigned. Reliably completes assigned tasks associated to special projects that are unrelated to day-to-day routine work. Trains other employees on execution of work procedures performed by self and team members on a regular basis. Provides in-services and presentations to internal and external customers as necessary. Requires a bachelor's degree in pharmacy with a minimum of 5 years in a clinical pharmacy setting or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree with at least 3 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting. Must be actively registered as a pharmacist in at least one State.
Position will be based out of the South San Francisco, CA office.

Responsibilities:
- Reliably organizes and completes tasks associated with both routine tasks and special projects that are unrelated to day-to-day routine work
- Performs within established timeliness and accuracy standards at FDB
- Performs additional duties for the organization as assigned by supervisors and as standards of timeliness and accuracy are established within the organization, will be expected to perform within established standards
- Actively supports the organization's mission, vision, values, and goals. Participates in activities within the organization that supports performance improvement
- Works in collaboration and independently under the supervision of a team lead, supervisor, or manager. Researches, makes observations, analyzes data, and interprets clinical results
- Verifies data entry performed by team members
- Ability to work well with other staff. Works with manager to identify and optimize process flow issues.
- May train new employees on execution of work procedures performed by self and team members on a regular basis
- Analyzes customer questions and works with team members and manager to provide a meaningful and timely response
- Analyzes customer data issues, with the help of the supervisor, as they pertain to needed data changes and customer implementation issues
- Actively contributes to process and quality improvement efforts. Provides in-services and presentations to group members
- Brings challenging or controversial clinical issues to the team for discussion
- Begins to field customer questions using basic data analytic skills to identify the issue and deliver a possible solution. Works with manager to deliver a solution
- Respond knowledgeably and diplomatically to a variety of customer inquiries through SalesForce. Reaches out to other team members for guidance
- Reviews data audits and reports daily as assigned
- Communication – written, oral, negotiation
- Multiple task prioritization: able to seek guidance when competing priorities are present
- Demonstrates ability to analyze a large repository of source information and come to sound, evidence-based conclusions
- Demonstrates ability to conform to work procedures; meet applicable deadlines, accuracy, and productivity standards
- Demonstrates knowledge or capability to become proficient at a basic level with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Can work in a team environment, taking primary responsibility for supported content initially with direct supervision by management personnel
- Works with preceptors to help pharmacy interns in completing projects.
- Becomes familiar with editorial policies, maintenance, and applications
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited U.S. College of Pharmacy
- 2 years recent experience in a clinical pharmacy setting with a bachelor's degree; 1 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree
