Hearst Magazines is looking for a Designer to join our Consumer Group creative team, supporting the development of innovative and engaging digital campaigns. We are seeking a passionate digital designer with a flair for motion graphics to create compelling content that markets our various brands. This role is for someone enthusiastic about digital design and motion graphics, comfortable with following creative direction. In this position, you will support digital marketing initiatives alongside our Creative Leads and Consumer Marketing team. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working closely with teams to deliver exceptional creative solutions for Hearst brands.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Support creative leads on projects from concept to delivery across multiple platforms.
• Develop and refine design systems and campaigns for Hearst brands across email, web, and social media.
• Transform ideas into vibrant, dynamic campaigns, from inception through execution.
• Collaborate with the Consumer Marketing team to produce engaging, high-performing creative.
• Analyze market positions to ensure Hearst brands are leaders in social engagement.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and tools to enhance design output.
  
  

Qualifications

Who You Are:

• Showcase an outstanding design portfolio, with proficiency in motion graphics and digital design; video editing is a plus.
• Demonstrate experience in designing for diverse media platforms.
• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and a knack for receiving constructive feedback.
• Possess strong expertise in design principles, including hierarchy, typography, color, and composition.
• Display exceptional problem-solving skills and quick troubleshooting abilities.
• Excel in multitasking, prioritizing, and communicating progress.
• Maintain organized job files and oversee team deliverables.
• Bring a sense of humor and a positive outlook to the team.
  
  

The base salary for this role is $66k-$71k . The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

This position is based in the NYC office a minimum of 3 days a week. No remote flexibility.
