What are the responsibilities and job description for the School-Based Mental Health Counselor - Central City Schools position at Heart and Solutions, LLC?
Heart and Solutions is looking to find an outpatient Mental Health Counselor to join our team based at Central City School System in Central City, IA. This position would be based in the school. This location is a 15 minute drive to our Cedar Rapids office.

This position is a 40-hour per week (fulltime) position (partitme considerations available). Counselors will have opportunities to work with a variety of clinical populations within the schools. Counselors are supported by an administrative and billing team as well as clinical and administrative supervisors.
Clinical supervision is provided for temporary licensed providers - who are encouraged to apply!
Additionally, play therapy supervision by a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor is available for therapists interested in pursuing their Registered Play Therapist credential.
Heart and Solutions is a strength based counseling agency specializing in working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. To apply for this position, applicants must hold licensure for one of the following in the state of Iowa: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (t-LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), temporary Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (t-LMFT) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW). or LMSW.

Pay: $36.79 - $40.50 per hour
