We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Cardiology team. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various health conditions, performing minor procedures, and collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed patient histories.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, family planning, and pediatrics.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Experience or familiarity with medical-surgical settings is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient management.
- Basic life support certification is required; advanced certifications are a plus.
- Experience with pediatrics or family planning is desirable but not mandatory.
