Job Summary
The Bilingual Medical Records Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of patient records within a healthcare facility. Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and update patient information in the electronic medical records system.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic medical records in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Retrieve and prepare medical records for healthcare providers as requested.
- Assist in the auditing of medical records to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Respond to requests for information from authorized personnel while adhering to privacy policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to improve record management processes.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations related to medical record keeping.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
