About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Physician (MD/DO) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide basic medical care to students at a Vocational Training Center in Anaconda. You’ll play a key role in supporting the health and wellness of young adults, ages 16–24, through preventive care, treatment, and wellness education.
Duties Include:
- Perform physical exams and health assessments
- Prescribe medications
- Provide follow-up care and referrals when necessary
- Collaborate with Center staff on health education and prevention initiatives
- Document all services in accordance with federal and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Montana license (MD, DO, or NP)
- Experience working with youth/young adult populations required
- Active DEA license required
- Must be able to pass a background check
Position Highlights:
- 8 hours per week (flexible schedule)
- 400 hours per year (contract allows for flexing hours across weeks)
- Supportive on-site team environment
- No emergency/on-call duties – center staff will contact 911 for emergencies
