Housekeeping Staff Worker:

Harbin Hot Springs needs 2 Full Time Housekeeping Staff members. The Hot Springs is a nonprofit clothing optional hot spring retreat center located in Middletown, CA. Our hot springs facilities are open to the public (24hrs per day, 7 days per week, year-round, this includes all holidays).

Currently our facilities consist of 35 guest rooms and 10 administrative buildings along with many hot spring fed pools. The facilities will grow over time as we rebuild.

This job entails cleaning Harbin guest rooms (laundering bedding, vacuuming/sweeping & general cleaning), some office cleaning and community space general cleaning/ maintenance - along with additional cleaning/sanitizing protocols put in place due to Covid-19 hygienic guidelines- You and a team will drive a company fleet vehicle around the Main side of our property and/ or golf cart to move about from one building to another as you clean. The majority of our rooms and main side areas are hilly and spread out across our wilderness property. Current Housekeeping need is for weekdays, weekends and some holidays. The schedule is for 40 hours per week.

WORK INVOLVES:

• General Housekeeping of all guest rooms and facilities: routinely cleaning rooms/bathrooms and community spaces throughout Harbin property.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations around proper Housekeeping Cleaning procedures and waste removal.
• working in a small team setting

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Ability to take initiative and be detailed oriented with awareness of the cleanliness of the facilities you are helping to maintain.
• works well in small teams

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Being able to maneuver on uneven ground, stand for long period of time, carry and lift up to 50 pounds on a semi- regular basis, safely operate a Harbin fleet work van and /or golf cart (automatic), tolerate exposure to change in temperature, and being able to perform daily repetitive hand and body movements as it pertains to general Housekeeping work.
• Always wear appropriate and job specific PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Hold a current Valid Driver’s License and have a good standing driving record with the DMV.
• Undergo a Background Check by our vendor Verified First.

COMPENSATION:

• The pay for this position is commensurate with experience. ($17/hr)
• Some Training/Orientation will be provided both for the job duties and the uniqueness of working in a clothing optional retreat setting.
