What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist position at Heart Group of the Eastern Shore, P.C.?
We are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preforming Cardiac PET/CT studies, and Nuclear Stress Test. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of nuclear medicine and radiation safety. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for nuclear cardiology to join a dynamic and innovative team. Part-Time 2-3 days per week with a possible Full-Time option.
**Cardiac PET experience a plus, but not required. **CT certification a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor radiation levels in the workplace.
- Perform radiation safety checks.
- Operate radiation detection and monitoring equipment.
- Maintain records of radiation exposure and contamination levels.
- Perform radiopharmaceuticals administration and imaging procedures.
- Assist in the development of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of nuclear medicine supplies.
- Conduct high quality studies for physicians to read.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
