We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin, part of HCA Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform timely and accurate Nuclear Medicine exams, documenting required information and communicating with primary physicians and direct care staff.
- Coordinate patient care assignments in collaboration with other technologists, physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.
- Evaluate patient condition to ensure the performance of radiology exams.
- Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and expectations.
- Provide comprehensive direct patient care and maintain a safe and comforting environment.
- Consult with colleagues as necessary to meet patient needs.
Requirements
- Associate Degree from an approved Joint Review Committee on Education Program in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
- Certified as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
- Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (CNMT) or Certified in nuclear medicine by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (N).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
