Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space to promote a safe environment.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Provide specialized care for clients with conditions such as dementia or those requiring long-term care support.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care, nursing home, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of First Aid and CPR is essential; certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be able to maintain a clean work environment while providing care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
