Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being.
- Monitor patient health by observing changes in condition and reporting to supervisors.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
- Administer basic first aid as needed and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Support clients with dementia through specialized caregiving techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and care provided.
Qualifications
- Experience working with people with disabilities or in caregiving roles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient observation techniques and caregiving best practices.
- Ability to provide compassionate care while respecting resident rights.
- Knowledge of dementia care strategies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with creating and following care plans is a plus.
- Basic first aid certification is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
