Responsibilities

• Safely operate a wheelchair-accessible vehicle to transport passengers to and from their destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking.
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and report any mechanical issues.
• Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch to coordinate schedules.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Assist passengers with heavy lifting as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including vans
• Experience in paratransit or similar transportation services is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Capability to perform heavy lifting and assist passengers as needed
• No prior experience required; training will be provided

Pay: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
