About the Role
As a Veterinary Technician at our bustling practice, you'll play a vital role in ensuring exceptional care for our patients and top-notch service for their owners. Your expertise will support hospital operations through responsibilities like patient care, assisting during surgeries, performing diagnostics, maintaining records, and more.
What You'll Do
- Conduct patient exams, gather medical histories, and assist with diagnostics like lab tests and imaging.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments, including wound care and bandaging.
- Prepare and monitor pets during surgeries, dental cleanings, and anesthesia.
- Perform nursing care, including feeding, cleaning, and observing patients for health changes.
- Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding their pet's care and treatment plans.
- Maintain and troubleshoot medical equipment and supplies.
- Uphold cleanliness, safety, and compliance in all hospital areas.
- Accurately document medical records and assist with inventory management.
