Heart of Gold Care Solutions is urgently hiring a team of skilled and compassionate caregivers. This high-needs position requires advanced caregiving expertise to support a client with Parkinson’s disease who is on hospice care. Flexible shift options are available for day, night, and weekend coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care tailored to the client’s advanced needs.
- Provide assistance with mobility, personal hygiene, feeding, and medication administration.
- Monitor the client’s condition and report changes to the care team and family.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to the client and their family.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
- Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure seamless 24/7 coverage.
Requirements:
- Experience with Parkinson’s disease and hospice care is mandatory.
- Skilled in handling high-needs clients and advanced care requirements.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or equivalent preferred.
- Strong observational, organizational, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Reliable transportation to and from Palm Desert.
- Ability to pass a background check.
