Job Description:
As Chief Lending Officer, you will lead the Lending Department in achieving credit union goals and objectives. This includes commercial, mortgage, consumer lending, and collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion Heart of Louisiana's culture standards and brand, coaching the lending department to live the brand.
- Focus the Lending department on meeting or exceeding strategic, budget, and growth plan goals, while monitoring progress and providing valuable reports to the CEO.
- Develop and implement lending policy, underwriting standards, and strategy, ensuring risk-based pricing and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and keep abreast of industry changes to maintain competitiveness.
- Research and propose new products, monitor product delivery and quality, and oversee vendor management for lending-related vendors.
- Serve on the Executive Team, providing a lending perspective on strategy, goals, programs, and policies.
Requirements:
- More than five years of similar or related experience.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
- Extensive knowledge of consumer, commercial, and real estate lending processes, as well as loan participation, purchase agreements, and secondary market investment programs.
