A critical access hospital is seeking its next Chief Financial Officer to join its dedicated team. Responsibilities encompass overseeing all financial operations and strategies to ensure the hospital's fiscal health and sustainability. This includes financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic initiatives and operational goals. The CFO will manage financial reporting, audits, and compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as oversee revenue cycle management and reimbursement strategies. Through leadership and collaboration, the CFO will work closely with executive leadership and department heads to optimize financial performance and drive cost-effective practices across the organization.
More specifically, safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all departments. Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts receivable/billing, accounts payable, cash disbursements, inventory, fixed assets, general and entity accounting. Manage commercial banking relationships, as well as, outside audit firms, casualty/liability insurance agents, credit card companies, and collection agencies. Reporting to this role is business office, accounts payable, materials management, information technology, and HIM.
