Infant/Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young learners. This position involves working with children in a Christian preschool environment, focusing on their developmental needs and academic growth.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the developmental stages of children.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Monitor and assess student progress through individualized assessments.
• Provide early intervention strategies for children needing additional support in their learning journey.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, curriculum updates, and any concerns.
• Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with diverse learning needs.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom conducive to learning and play.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in childhood education.

Skills

• Strong understanding of childhood development principles, particularly in early intervention strategies.
• Experience in curriculum development that meets the needs of preschool or toddler-aged children.
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of procedures and assessment methods.
• Previous experience in daycare or preschool settings is preferred but not required.
• A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
