What You’ll Do: You'll use your expertise to manipulate and massage soft tissues—muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fat tissue—to promote relaxation, pain relief, and optimal healing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional massage services, including soft tissue work, manual lymphedema therapy, reflexology, and more, as directed by a registered nurse.
- Offer massage services to employees on behalf of the HRRMC Wellness Committee upon request.
- Communicate concerns or issues directly with nursing staff or consult immediately with your supervisor.
- Document all services provided to patients in the electronic health record.
- Educate hospital staff and the public on the benefits of massage therapy.
- Assist nursing staff with additional tasks as needed, such as meal assistance, answering calls, and taking blood samples to the lab.

Qualifications
- Massage therapy certification.
- A minimum of 3 years of massage therapy experience is preferred.
- Passion for patient-centered care.

- Must maintain a current CPR certification.
- Colorado State Massage Therapy licensure required.
- Oncology massage therapy certification preferred.
