Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Staff Coordinator to join our team. The Medical Staff Coordinator will be responsible for managing the credentialing and privileging process for all medical staff members, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards. This role will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for all medical staff members, coordinating meetings and events, and providing administrative support to the Medical Staff Office.
Key Responsibilities :
Medical Staff Credentialing, Privileging, and Reappointment :
- Responsible for oversight of medical staff credentialing and privileging for initial applicants and reappointments.
- Responsible for oversight of requests for additional and temporary clinical privileges.
- Reviews all completed applications for completeness and for adverse trends and patterns.
- Responsible for oversight of complete applications ensuring submission to the Medical Executive Committee with recommendations sent to the Board for final action
