Position Overview :

HRRMC is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our Sleep Medicine Clinic team. In this role, you will provide patient-centered care, diagnose and manage sleep disorders, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive sleep medicine services. Experience in managing sleep disorders and PAP therapy is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate with the passion to learn and grow in this specialty.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform comprehensive assessments, including patient histories and physical exams.
Diagnose and treat common sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and narcolepsy.
Prescribe and manage treatments for patients, including CPAP / BiPAP devices and other non-invasive therapies.
Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding sleep hygiene and treatment adherence.
Monitor ongoing patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers and specialists to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintain up-to-date patient records in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

Education : Masters degree in Nursing (FNP) from an accredited program.

Licensure : Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Colorado

Experience :

Previous experience in managing sleep disorders, CPAP / BiPAP therapy, or other sleep medicine services is highly preferred.

Candidates with a strong background in primary care or family who are willing to learn about sleep medicine will also be considered.

Skills :

Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Ability to work autonomously, making independent clinical decisions while maintaining patient safety and high standards of care.

Leadership skills with a proven ability to guide a department, support team members, and implement process improvements.
