Your role as a Continuum of Care Program Manager

As the Continuum of Care Program Manager, you can expect a dynamic and fulfilling day-to-day experience. Your responsibilities will include coordinating various programs aimed at addressing homelessness, developing collaborative relationships with local service providers, and analyzing data to enhance program effectiveness. You will lead meetings and community outreach efforts, ensuring that all voices are heard and engaged in the process.

This role entails crafting reports and presentations, tracking progress towards goals, and adjusting strategies based on feedback and outcomes. Expect to spend time in the community, gathering insights, and building partnerships that strengthen our collective impact.

An advanced understanding of issues facing individuals in poverty and crises is crucial, paired with a strong commitment to helping families achieve stability, health, and independence. Familiarity with the local social service and nonprofit sectors will empower you to navigate community resources effectively. Technical skills play a key role in this position; a high degree of computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, is essential.

Proficiency with web-based applications, such as Zoom, will facilitate communication and collaboration with stakeholders. Your success will also hinge on excellent oral and written communication skills, allowing you to convey ideas clearly and build strong relationships. Independent problem-solving ability and decision-making skills will be vital as you address the complex challenges that arise. A strong customer service orientation is necessary to foster positive interactions with both internal and external partners.

Some Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

  • Advanced understanding of issues facing people in poverty and crises with a commitment to assist individuals and families in achieving stability, health, wholeness and independence.
  • Knowledge of local social service and non-profit sectors.
  • A demonstrated desire and commitment to prevent and end homelessness.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Independent problem solving and decision making.
  • Excellent customer service orientation to both internal and external relationships.

This position will work 7.5 hours a day between the hours of 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY with a lunch break and IS hybrid (at least 2 days a week in office). Salary Statement :

The typical offer range for this role is from minimum to midpoint, with the midpoint representing the average pay for this in a market scope. Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade for which this position belongs to. The salary offer considers a variety of factors relevant to this position, which includes knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The full salary range for this position at HWMUW is $50,431-$75,647.
