Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of nutrition science and its application in outpatient cardiology clinic settings, in a hybrid position. Flexible hybrid hours/schedule including optional weekends. As a Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in assessing patients' nutritional needs and developing personalized dietary plans to ensure optimal patient cardiovascular outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional status and dietary needs.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on diagnostic evaluations and patient goals.
- Provide guidance on weight loss strategies and healthy eating habits tailored to specific health conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate nutrition into overall patient care systems.
- Educate patients and their families about nutrition-related topics, promoting understanding of dietary choices.
- Monitor and adjust nutrition plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes in accordance with standard guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
- Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and patient assessment methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of current dietary guidelines and evidence-based practices in nutrition care.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
