The Revenue Cycle Assistant Manager will:
- report to the Revenue Cycle Director and assist in the leadership, supervision, and administration of the entirety of the revenue cycle process.
- under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Director, oversee and supervise certain aspects of the revenue cycle process and revenue cycle team members.
- assist in the administrative coordination of the revenue cycle department.
- will develop and implement practice specific process improvement recommendations and troubleshoot revenue cycle pain points.
- serve as a practice expert and a go-to person for some/all coding and billing processes
- will develop training materials and train members of the revenue cycle team, and serve as a mentor and a coach.
- keep up to date with continually changing regulation and reimbursement policies and industry best practices
- support revenue maximization and integrity through evaluation of coding and billing accuracy
- generate reports and data to analyze key revenue cycle performance metrics to inform decision-making processes and operational improvement.
- perform other duties as assigned
Required:
- 7 years of direct billing/revenue cycle experience
- 2 years of experience in leadership, management, and supervision of revenue cycle teams
- Moderate to advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
- High school education or equivalent
- Specialty practice experience – cardiovascular experience strongly preferred
- Certified Coder and/or Certified Biller
