Supporting Independence in Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
We're seeking a dedicated Behavioral Support Professional to join our team in providing essential services to individuals with developmental disabilities in community settings. Position Overview
As a Behavioral Support Professional, you'll work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions under BCBA supervision. Your role will be crucial in supporting clients' growth and development while maintaining professional standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs, focusing on both skill building and behavior reduction strategies
- Create and maintain positive therapeutic relationships with clients through professional engagement and rapport building
- Conduct sessions with strict adherence to client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
- Document session data accurately and comprehensively using Central Reach platform
- Complete timely session documentation and conversions in Central Reach
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation abilities
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Proficiency in using behavioral data collection systems
- Ability to work independently while following established treatment protocols
Required Qualifications
- Experience with behavioral intervention techniques
- Proficiency in using Central Reach or ability to learn new software systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation for community-based services
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
