We are a growing heart and vascular clinic seeking a Business Manager who is patient-centric, organized, and connects well with the vibrance of an energetic medical office. As a Business Manager with Advance Cardiovascular Specialist, you will build a community within the practice that fosters engagement by achieving organizational goals, being available to employees, accepting feedback from others, and encouraging growth in your team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and oversees credentialing for all providers.
- Liaison between Billing Department and Administration
- Assist with developing and implementing Policies and Procedures as they relate to the revenue cycle process.
- Implement and manage policies front office.
- Work directly with Front Office Team Lead to assist in the coordination of the entire billing process.
- Serve as the HIPAA/Compliance Coordinator for the facility, including providing monthly education to all staff.
- Adheres to safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities.
- Communicates effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and co- workers.
- Maintains and promotes professional competence through continuing education and other learning experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years supervising staff, including hiring and disciplinary responsibilities
- Three years of accounts receivable experience, including two years of experience in a health care organization.
- Working knowledge of ICD10, CPT and HCPCS coding
- 2 years directly and successfully managing front office, medical records compliance, and HIPAA
- Experience with EMR/PM and proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 including Word and Excel
Physical Requirements
This position requires a full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a typical medical clinic and/or business office environment. Work in a clinical setting has the potential for exposure to blood and bodily fluids, and infectious pathogens. Must be able to use protective equipment as required.
