Responsibilities:
- Implement a Lean-Process initiative to ensure efficiency while maintaining the integrity of lower environments (QA, Staging).
- Automate environment provisioning and configuration using CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Conduct audits of current environment setups and assess risks using automated tools.
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and the least privilege principle to enhance security and compliance.
- Manage test data through anonymization, synthetic data usage, and automated data refresh strategies.
- Adopt lean change management principles by integrating GitOps and automating approval workflows.
- Establish centralized monitoring and alerts using Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana for real-time performance insights.
- Implement automated backup processes and conduct disaster recovery testing.
- Ensure IT Service Management (ITSM) practices around Change and Release Management are consistently followed.
- Optimize existing Service Management processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure smooth software and system delivery.
- Maintain a Forward Schedule Release Calendar and facilitate communication of release schedules, artifacts, and statuses.
- Conduct release readiness reviews, lead go-live activities, and ensure compliance with release controls.
- Serve as Change Advisory Board (CAB) chair, ensuring proper evaluation of requests and escalation procedures.
- Analyze incidents to identify root causes and recommend proactive problem management strategies.
- Drive continuous improvements in problem management, incident resolution, and change control processes.
Required Experience & Knowledge:
- 10 years of relevant IT Service Management experience.
- ITIL Certification (Version 3 or 4) preferred.
- Strong understanding of ITIL best practices for Incident, Change, Release, and Problem Management.
- Extensive experience with JIRA Service Management and ServiceNow (minimum 5 years required).
- Knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, Blue/Green, and Canary deployment methodologies.
- Experience with configuration management principles and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
Preferred Experience & Knowledge:
- Experience with GitOps principles and automated deployment approvals.
- Familiarity with automated risk assessments and compliance tools (e.g., OWASP Dependency-Check, Snyk).
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana) and alerting systems.
- Ability to manage business continuity processes, including backup automation and disaster recovery testing.
- Experience optimizing release controls, risk assessments, and change evaluation processes.
