General Production Worker

Purpose and Scope

Perform various duties within the Solutions Department, including:

• Cart loading and staging
• Inspecting filled/finished bags for quality compliance
• Packaging and palletizing products
• Performing general cleaning duties

This is a temp-to-perm position, depending on candidate performance.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect and load overwrapped bags onto carts per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable Batch Production Records (BPRs); document results accordingly.
• Inspect pre- and post-sterile products for visual and functional defects.
• Properly package products into shipping cases as per SOPs and BPRs.
• Palletize cases following SOP and BPR requirements.
• Seek assistance from A2 and A3 employees for day-to-day challenges; escalate issues to the supervisor as needed.
• Adhere to the Code of Business Conduct, company policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist with various projects as assigned by the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including location- or department-specific functions as per applicable addendums.

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: B Shift (Rotating weekends, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM)
• Pay Rate:
• $17.00/hr while training on days
• $18.70/hr once night shift begins
• Steel-toe boots required on Day 1

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Must be able to stand and work on feet for the entire shift.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers; must handle materials and wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, safety glasses, and cut-resistant gloves.
• Frequent reaching, occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and hearing/talking.
• Max weight lifted: 50 lbs.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions and toxic/caustic chemicals.
• Noise levels in the work environment are typically moderate.

Education

• High School Diploma required

Experience and Required Skills

• 0–1 year of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance are critical.
• Basic literacy: ability to recognize and differentiate words and numbers, print, and speak simple sentences.
• Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using units of American currency, weight, volume, and distance.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations.
• Background Check and Drug Screen Required.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

• Overnight shift

• Rotating shift
