You will be responsible for supporting various technology systems, assisting with employee onboarding/offboarding, documenting system configurations and inventory, and ensuring the availability of technology for both remote and onsite employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software platforms that support stakeholders.
- Conduct and coordinate training on the use of business applications for stakeholders across the organization.
- Handle second-level escalation of application support issues and collaborate with system administrators to ensure deployment accuracy.
- Manage assigned support queues, ensuring clear communication throughout the technology support lifecycle.
- Ensure seamless technology onboarding for new employees, including access to in-house and third-party systems.
- Assist with hardware imaging, configuration, and employee moves as required.
- Provide local office support as needed, with occasional travel.
- Maintain accurate records of known issues, system deployments, and configurations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with supported employees and teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft-based networks, hardware, software, and telecommunications.
- Professional experience with Windows Server/10/11, Office 365, and group policy.
- Proficiency in managing laptops, desktops, and tablet computers (e.g., imaging, BIOS configurations).
- Experience supporting wireless communications and VPN technologies.
- Exposure to back-office automation tools such as PowerShell (preferred).
- Working knowledge of network equipment, including routers, firewalls, and switches.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and the ability to configure and troubleshoot them (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, FTP, VPN, etc.).
Essential Functions:
- Perform duties onsite as needed.
- Access, input, and retrieve information from a computer or electronic device.
- Engage in face-to-face conversations with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Sit or stand for extended periods and move around the work environment as necessary.
- Operate a motor vehicle for occasional travel related to office setup or shutdown activities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Physical Demands:
- Remain stationary for up to 50% of the time.
