We are hiring! Heartfelt Impressions is looking for individuals seeking their first opportunity to work in a childcare setting. This entry level position will give you hands-on experience in the classroom. Shift/Schedule:
Responsibilities and duties:
-Communicates openly with both parents and staff
-Ensures overall safety of children
-Support lead and assistant teacher
-Conduct classroom in accordance with HighScope philosophy and practices
-Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
-Attend Heartfelt Impressions company/school meetings
-Participate in snack and meal service Family Style Dining
-Ensure cleaning tasks are completed
-Provide 1:1 attention with children as needed
-Participates in outdoor activities
-Supervise and ensure safety and well-being of the children and all times
-Share feedback and suggestions with Lead Teacher as needed
-Must be able to provide a loving, caring, and nurturing teaching approach/relationship with the children
-Must be able to be patient and incorporate multitasking into the daily routine
-Physically able to lift 15 pounds
