This is an onsite position that can be based out of Lake City or Lakeville, Minnesota and will include up to 25% travel.

Your Role As An Automation Systems Technician
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, electro-mechanical, and BMS systems to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operation.
- Develop solutions to automate tasks, create custom functions, improve visualizations, and streamline data processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and adaptability.
- Proactively test and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve automation, efficiency, and data integration, working closely with the engineering team around implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pilot emerging solutions, ensuring they align with operational goals and safety standards.
Education & Experience
- 2-year technical degree in an Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in automation and Operations Technology systems.
- Experience with Ignition development, SQL databases, industrial hardware (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Maple, Omron, Mitsubishi), and programming languages (Python).
