What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Manager position at Hearthside Food Solutions LLC?
We are currently seeking a Quality Manager in our Seelyville, IN plant.
As Quality Manager, you will direct all quality assurance and food safety functions. You will also plan, direct and supervise all quality assurance practices and procedures adhering to local, state and federal food processing manufacturing guidelines.
Job Duties :
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following :
- Audit Quality Assurance functions to assure continued compliance requirements.
- Manage and maintain HACCP plan
- Coordinate multidisciplinary activities among various team members assuring timely, efficient and cost-effective finality.
- Administrate all product specifications assuring compliance with regulatory label requirements.
- Make thorough inspections of department and area, creating and maintaining written reports of findings and coordination corrective action as required.
- Develop all ingredient and nutritional information to be in regulatory compliance.
- Ensure food standard compliance with FDA, OSHA, GMP and company policy.
- Monitor inspection of all incoming materials, ensuring proper rotation of same.
- Enforce GMP / HACCP standards and company policy at all times.
- SQF Practitioner and PCQI duties
- The responsibility for establishing and implementing the training needs of the organizations' personnel to ensure they have the required competencies to carry out those functions affecting product, legality, safety, and quality.
- Maintain high quality and integrity throughout facility.
- May perform other functions as needed.
