Role Overview:
Warehouse Goods Transport Specialists play a pivotal role in efficiently managing the flow of products and materials within our facilities. With a focus on safety and efficiency, these professionals must adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Compensation: Starting at $20.07 per hour, plus shift differentials for specific hours.
Schedule: Enjoy long weekends with shifts Friday to Sunday, from 6 AM to 6 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately manage the logistics of products, ensuring they are correctly identified and labeled.
- Utilize forklifts, handcarts, and pallet jacks for order processing.
- Support inventory management and maintain prescribed levels.
- Assist production lines as per directive.
- Ensure the safe operation of equipment at all times.
- Perform thorough documentation of moved materials.
- Engage in housekeeping to support 5S principles.
- Undertake other necessary tasks as directed.
Essential Skills and Capabilities:
- Proficiency or willingness to learn GMP standards.
- Forklift certification achievable within three months.
- Capability to maneuver various forklift models.
- Sound numerical literacy.
- Comprehension of all safety protocols is crucial.
- English literacy preferred.
Qualifications and Background:
- Preferably a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Prior experience in material handling is advantageous.
Working Conditions:
This manufacturing setting offers exposure to machinery, fluctuating temperatures, and noise.
Teamwork and Availability:
