HR Assistant / Recruiter (Bilingual A Plus)
Provide support in functional areas of Human Resources to employees and ECR team, ensuring goals of the organization, as well as compliance with Federal, State and Local laws. Emphasis in Recruitment, Engagement, Record Maintenance, and Training.
Job Duties :
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following :
Recruiting of hourly positionsComplete background checks on candidatesFacilitate new hire orientation and follows up all new hire paperwork is completedEnsure legal compliance of Local, State and Federal laws by monitoring and maintaining records as requiredComplete and process necessary employee action formsAssist in audits that monitor compliance with HR Policies and ProceduresServe as a point person for employee questionsSupport for Benefit AdministrationAssist in communication, enforcement and administration of company policiesProvide reports on Human Resource data as needed to departments KPI'sMaintains historical Human Resource records by filing and retrieval system, keeping past and current recordsAssist in management of attendance programMaintain employee health benefit programs with enrollment, ensures employee changes are completed, termination of employees no longer participatingAdminister and aid in planning of morale activitiesManage site recognition incentive program including communications, inventory management, and execution.Assist in meeting department's budget, expense approval from ECR ManagerSupport Leave of Absence requests for employeesPerform other duties as requiredRequired Competencies & Knowledge :

Work Environment :
Work is primarily done in an office setting.Infrequent production environment exposure which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, forklifts, and fluctuations in temperature.Physical Requirements :
Sitting at a workstation for extended periods of timeStand, walk, climb stairs on an infrequent basisMust be able to lift 20 pounds on an infrequent basis.Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor Degree Human Resources-related field and / or equivalent work experience.At least 1 year experience as an office or administrative assistant preferably in an HR setting.Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
