The pay range for this full-time, salaried position is $58,962 - $88,444/year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. Maintenance Planner responsibilities include the planning functions related to preventative maintenance, assigning work orders, checking inventory, staging parts and will indirectly lead maintenance technicians through this process.
Job Duties
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Scheduling Preventative Maintenance (PM’s)
- Developing a daily & weekend plan for technicians to complete work orders
- Verify inventory of parts needed for kitting process
- Tracking and monitoring the process of PM’s and work orders
- Tracking of downtime due to mechanical breakdowns
- Closing work orders as completed
- Track the time that it takes to complete PM’s and work orders
- Update PM master list as needed to reflect correct time and parts to keep current
- Coordinate parts ordering with the MRO Procurement Analyst
Knowledge of:
- Purchasing, maintenance functions, machine parts
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office
- Exposure to lean concepts such as 5S, center lining of equipment and use of tools such as MTBF and MTTR as metrics to gauge progress in elimination of downtime.
- Extensive CMMS experience. MP2 by Infor preferred, or other maintenance management software
- Exposure to high-speed packaging lines, preferably in the food industry will be given the highest priority
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional detail orientation.
- MS Office Suite and SAP
- High school diploma in conjunction with 3-5 years relevant experience.
- College degree preferred, with 2-3 years’ experience.
- Sitting at a work station for short periods of time.
- Frequent line calls throughout the building requiring immediate response.
- Stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds on an infrequent basis.
- Work is primarily done in a manufacturing production floor.
- Frequent production environment exposure which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, forklifts, and fluctuations in temperature.
