Job Summary: Correctly scale/weigh the proper ingredients for the specified dough mixture that is scheduled for the shift or shifts. Maintain clean work area.
Job Duties: This position will require the incumbent to check schedule to determine the ingredients and the amounts needed to be scaled. Prepare scales for the weighting process. Select specified ingredients for dough mixture. Accurately weigh each ingredient for dough mixture. Sift lumpy ingredients per specified formulas and instructions. Place ingredients in designated bags. Record shift, ingredients, initials on bag. Record all lot numbers on bags. Place ingredients on carts. Communicate changes, instructions, etc. to the next shift scaler.
This position requires that all Good Manufacturing Practices (G.M.P.’s) are followed at all times must be familiar with GMP requirements and the employee handbook. Any foreign materials found in product or ingredients need to be reported to a supervisor immediately.

Skill in:
