Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Perform basic medical procedures such as wound dressing changes, catheter insertion/removal, and specimen collection.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a medical office or healthcare setting.
- Proficient in performing dermal fillers, spinal taps, phlebotomy, and other medical procedures.
- Experience in triaging patients and providing care for various age groups, including toddlers and elderly individuals.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of [Location].
- CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
