As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing patient care, implementing best practices, and fostering a collaborative environment among healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Supervise nursing staff to ensure adherence to established protocols and standards of care.
• Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring effective communication between healthcare teams.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and oversee the administration of treatments.
• Monitor compliance with infection control policies to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Provide guidance and support in the use of electronic health records systems such as Cerner.
• Facilitate training and development opportunities for nursing staff to enhance their skills in areas such as occupational health and neonatal ventilator management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients.
• Address any issues related to patient care or staff performance promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license with relevant clinical experience in nursing home settings.
• Strong knowledge of geriatrics, infection control, and patient care practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and implement appropriate interventions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 34 per week
