The Resident Assistant is to provide personal care assistance services that assist all resident’s in following a plan of care designed to improve or delay deterioration of resident’s physical health while enabling the resident to remain in a Personal Care Home. Perform light cleaning responsibilities to maintain a sanitary facility to including housekeeping, laundry, dining room assistance, etc...
Assist with activities of daily living (ADL’s) and personal care including:
- Bathing - Shaving -Ambulation -Mouth Care -Dressing
- Exercise -Hair Care -Feeding -Toileting
- Nail Care -Positioning -Medication Administration
- Skin Care -Transferring -Vital Signs and Blood Pressure
*Be at least 18 years of age.
*High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
*Minimum two (2) years experience working with the elderly, preferred.
*Must be able to pass a State Criminal Clearance every two (2) years.
*Must be able to pass an FBI clearance if applicant/employee has not resided in the State of Pennsylvania consecutively (without interruption) for more than two (2) years immediately preceding the date of application/acceptance of employment.
*Must be able to complete mandatory training requirements of HRH.
*Must be able to complete DHS online training.
