Inside Sales Estimator

We are committed to being the construction industry's preferred ceiling and specialty contractor. We are seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Estimator to join our team in the Woodinville, WA branch. This role is crucial in defining realistic project costs and involves working independently to prepare proposals, manage client relationships, and ensure project success. • Quote Generation:

Receive customer inquiries, analyze project details (including blueprints, specifications, and material needs), and generate detailed cost estimates with accurate pricing for products and services. 

• Customer Interaction:

Develop and maintain customer relationships through phone calls, emails, and online communication to understand project needs, answer questions, and address concerns. 

• Technical Expertise:

Possess a strong understanding of the company's product line, including technical specifications, applications, and pricing structures to provide accurate estimates. 

• Proposal Development:

Prepare comprehensive proposals through On-Screen Takeoff (OST), outlining project scope, pricing, timeline, and potential solutions to present to clients. Request material and equipment pricing from vendors and suppliers and review each estimate to ensure it meets Company estimating procedures. 

• Lead Qualification:

Identify qualified sales leads and assess their potential project requirements to determine if they are a good fit for Heartland. 

• Market Analysis:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor pricing, and market conditions to inform pricing strategies. 

• Collaboration:

Work closely with the Project Manager and field operations, and outside sales teams to provide accurate project estimations and address client concerns. 

Other Duties and Responsibilities:   

• Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of relevant industry standards, product features, and technical specifications 

• Sales Skills:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities to close deals and build client loyalty. 

• Analytical Skills:

Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and project details to accurately calculate costs. 

• Software Proficiency:

Expertise in CRM systems, estimating software, and Microsoft Office Suite 

• Problem-Solving:

Capability to identify potential project challenges, propose solutions, and address client concerns. 

·         Various other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager, Director of Estimating or President. 

·         Attending client and industry events outside normal business hours. 

·         Manage all job-related documents including paper, electronic, and estimating software. 

·         Perform project site visits and attend project meetings as assigned. 

·         Prepare reports for staff or management as directed.
