Description:
Heartland AEA has a full-time Occupational Therapist position available for the 2025-26 school year, based out of the Service Area 5. This position will be serving children birth - 21 in the Ankeny CSD. This position will have a 192-day contract and will organize and administer the occupational therapy component of the educational program for children and youth with disabilities who have special needs in education because of impairment in self-care, mealtime skills and/or manipulation skills.
Qualifications:
Qualified applicants must have completed an occupational therapy program, have a current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Iowa and obtain a Statement of Professional Recognition from the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. Pediatric experience preferred.
