Description:
Heartland AEA has a full-time School Social Worker position available for the 2025-26 school year, based in the Guthrie Center regional office, serving students in the Panorama, AC/GC, Autubon, and Exira-EHK school districts. This position will have a 192-day contract and will provide services for the identification, evaluation and educational programming of children. Candidates should be able to provide services that assist parents and professionals in meeting the educational and social/emotional/behavioral and mental health needs of children and youth. The position will include Child Find responsibilities within a RtI model.
Qualifications:
Candidates will need to have excellent teamwork, collaboration, communication and organizational skills. Candidates must be appropriately licensed/certified by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (or have the ability to obtain a license) and possess a master's degree in social work at the minimum.
