PLANT OPERATIONS - MAINTENANCE WORKER

Heartland Behavioral Health Services has been providing care for children and adolescents for over 100 years in Nevada, Missouri. We treat male and female patients ages 4 through 17 in both acute as well as residential programs for conditions ranging from depression, anxiety and other mood disorders to recovering from a traumatic event. All of our programs have been designed and tailored to help our patients grow and prosper.

The maintenance positions will perform a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the routine upkeep, maintenance, and repair to physical plant building, and equipment. May assist skilled trades or mechanics in more difficult work, but performs routine maintenance duties without continuing supervision. Does require rotation on-call.

Knowledge of the standard practices, procedures, and tools required in the general building trades; general knowledge of stationary equipment operations and maintenance or repair. Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent. A minimum of one year of experience in building maintenance or repair. Sufficient strength and agility to perform assigned tasks.
