Job Responsibilities
- Lead and support the OT network system and IT Engineering at the production facility by establishing and maintaining regular written and in-person communication with executives, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent OT network activities.
- Serve as point of escalation on IT network issues at manufacturing facility and provide on call support as required.
- Securely implement and manage IT/OT infrastructure within the Production facility.
- Ensure effective deployment and integration of OT systems within the OT network in accordance with standards.
- Ensure health and functionality of OT network systems and vendor remote access.
- Support the management of the OT network system lifecycle, ensuring adherence to cyber security and operational standards.
- Act as a liaison between IT and Production by gathering site-specific requirements.
- Assist with OT systems audits and compliance efforts.
- Coordinate and document IT/OT network related training specifically to the manufacturing facility.
- Create documentation of OT network systems and maintain library of documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years IT work experience required, or a minimum of five years of experience in OT network systems support and integration.
- Experience managing or administering manufacturing process controls networks, OT or IT infrastructure for manufacturing operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced understanding of network infrastructure, computer hardware, and enterprise architecture.
- Advanced understanding of cyber security controls for Operational Technology and Compliance security.
- Ability to generalize manufacturing technology and solutions and effectively communicate complex solutions to leadership.
- Experience working with third party vendors and system integrators, specifying hardware and software for controls and automation projects, Factory and Site acceptance tests, and project management.
- Engineering level experience with a variety of enterprise grade network components such as servers, managed switches, wireless Lan controllers, and firewalls.
- Experience programming cisco network hardware.
