What are the responsibilities and job description for the Army Analyst position at Heartland Consulting?
Heartland Consulting is actively seeking a highly qualified individual to support our Army G-3 / 5 / 7 client and their mission. Individuals interested in this position must be high functioning and very adept in Army customs and chain of command. This client supports over 20 stakeholders and 15 projects, in a fast-paced environment. Heartland supports Mission Command Support Element's (MSCE) four primary sub-branches : Synchronization and Integration Branch, Current Operations Branch, Futures Branch, and Data Operations Branch. The following is a list of qualifications and duties :
Qualifications :
- 6 years progressive experience in how the Army operates
- Knowledge of operational and generating force activities at the Army staff, Major Army Command (MACOM) and tactical levels with experience in Army Force Management.
- Must be able to handle the simultaneous management of multiple complex tasks and activities
- Experience with resource analysis, systems engineering, acquisition management, test and evaluation, and program management support.
- Knowledge and experience in Army and Joint Capabilities Integrated Development Systems (JCIDS)
- Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE), and Department / Army acquisition processes
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues
