Heartland Consulting is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team and provide technical assistance across our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring smooth operation of IT services. Key Responsibilities : Operational
- Provide hands-on IT support, including installing / upgrading software, configuring systems, and troubleshooting hardware / software issues.
- Diagnose and resolve incidents related to operating systems (Windows, Mac) and various software applications.
- Perform routine maintenance of workstations, printers, IP phones, and other peripherals.
- Test fixes to verify resolution and conduct post-resolution follow-ups.
- Troubleshoot and repair conference room equipment, including phones, projectors, sound systems, and connectivity.
- Use remote support tools to assist users and perform software updates.
- Install and configure new IT equipment (laptops, printers, IP phones).
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to the appropriate IT team member.
