Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Project/Contract Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Department of Defense (DoD) projects and programs, coupled with strong financial management expertise. This position requires a proactive leader with excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of resource management, and the ability to provide insightful briefings to upper management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage projects and programs
- Provide expert-level financial management support for DoD-related projects.
- Develop and deliver high-quality briefings and reports to upper management and stakeholders.
- Ensure proper resource allocation, accountability, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and meet client expectations.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable DoD regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Clearance: Minimum Secret Clearance (active).
- Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance, OR
- Master's degree in any business discipline.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of DoD Project Management (PM) experience managing projects and programs of similar scope and complexity.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of DoD financial management experience managing projects and programs of similar scope and complexity.
- Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Skills:
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to brief upper management effectively.
- In-depth understanding of resource management and accountability principles.
