Heartland Credit Union is looking for a Vice President of Marketing to lead the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies, overseeing all marketing activities across various channels to align with short-and long-term goals. This role manages the daily operations of the marketing department, including creative services, public relations, community outreach, marketing intelligence, and brand creative.

Onsite Office located at Support Center 4000 N. Monroe Hutchinson, KS
Office hours - Monday- Friday with occasional after hours events.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR VP OF MARKETING
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
- Responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of new member, deposit and loan acquisition efforts as well as deepening existing member relationships and retention. Spearheads member onboarding efforts.
- Designs innovative strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and ensures that strategic plans complement market place needs.
- Provides oversight and overall direction and insight for all print, digital advertising, website, social media, promotions, journeys, personalization, and email to drive increased products and services per member while ensuring all output is compliant, quality-based and delivered on time.
- Presents and communicates all marketing programs to management and personnel and ensures that marketing promotions support organizational objectives.
- Maintains key partner relationships (e.g., online banking, core system) to continuously drive enhanced experiences and improved products and services.
- Oversees member experience sentiment and related activities for monitoring service levels, e.g. Google reviews.
- Provide leadership and support to key credit union events such as annual meetings to ensure a positive and successful experience.
- Pro-actively support and advance HCU's brand platform.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
REQUIREMENTS FOR VP OF MARKETING
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent experience and training.
- Five to eight years of related marketing experience.
- Five or more years of managerial experience.
- Three or more years of financial institution marketing experience preferred.
- Excellent communications and writing skills.
- Excellent understanding of market penetration strategies, market development techniques, and market segmentation strategies.
- Comprehensive understanding of Internet technologies, metrics, and services, including social media.
- Able to use all related hardware and software; extremely computer literate. Fluent with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Well organized and attentive to detail
- Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
