Dental Hygiene Specialist

Job Title: Part-time Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a part-time dental hygienist to join our team on Fridays at Oak Leaf Family Dental. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced staff and provide top-notch patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and education.
• Work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical and dental histories.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

• Dental hygienist license in WI and an Associates or Bachelors degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
